Trailer PC PS4 Xbox One Wii U Xbox 360 PS3

While waiting for a HQ version of the announcement trailer, here are the first images and artworks of Child of Light, developed by Ubisoft Montreal using the Ubiart engine developed for Rayman Origins/Legends. Beautiful, to say the least.

This looks lovely! I was a little iffy on the character designs, but in motion they are wonderful. The animations blow the screenshots away.

I hope that the gameplay design's quality can parity that of the art direction; projects this beautiful always bring out the cynic in me. I worry that Child of Light will end up visually arresting but intellectually bland...

Looks awesome! But I think all Ubisoft developers must be divorced. They always work on something and usually on multiple projects.
