I have to admit I am also not too comfortable with MOH exploiting a current war as a form of entertainment, it really is a little tacky...
Anyway, as I said I am much more interested in the paranoia of the cold war era, probably due to the fact that I grew up while it was still going on in the 80's and the fact that the Russians were "legitimate" bad guys back then instead of having to stretch to some kind of ultra nationalist fictional splinter group.

MOH SP looks amazing, that alone should make it a must by. Just wait until you see the new video 6 "danger close".
Plus, I'd like to point out that this is the first time the war in Afghan was featured in a console game. I'm not railing on COD, just saying you should give both a try.
to judge MOH's multiplayer on the BETA would be like judging a film on it's unfinished workprint that had missing sound, visual effects and story. it's fair to do it in most cases since most "beta's" are just demo's under a different name, but in MOH's case. it really was a beta, there to help in the development of the game, not to make a judgement on whetter to buy it. that will come with the demo.
tbh, i'm not particularly interested in either this, MOH or battlefield, but i know for a fact i wouldnt touch THIS even if you gave it to me. not after the awful MW2.
And anyway, the problems with MoH weren't BUGS, it was a lack of IDENTITY, and mediocre GAMEPLAY. When it comes right down to it, Medal of Honor's BUGS weren't what made cancel my pre-order, but DESIGN ISSUES, which aren't going to change this late in the game. The Bad Company 2 BETA was also very BETA and also already a lot BETTER. MoH isn't going to be very GOOD. I'll try it again, but I don't suspect it to be much better.
Also, lol.
I also Don't understand how some people can praise COD4 as much as they do and then slam MW2. I would probably rate them similarly.
Though I would really like to the tactical shooter make a come back. I was really hoping that would more the direction of MOH. Rather than just following the trend.

The new vids released ofcourse are meaningless when they've been so obviously directed and carefully edited
I was actually playing MW2 yesterday for the first time in a good while. It's still great fun.
It also reminded me how much difference 60fps makes on an fps game
MW2 was not that bad as people say, killstreaks can be annoying though.
I'm sure this will be a great game, just like MW1 and 2 was as well as World at War.
