You've been asking for it, et voilà ! Our gameplay video of Colin McRae: Dirt 2's fifth E3 track. Please forgive my alcoholic driving, I foolishly thought that my little reflexes of the first episode could come back on the first try. They didn't - added to the fact that it's a really difficult track - but it won't prevent you from enjoying the supernatural beauty of the game.

The game looks incredible. The lighting gives it a CGI quality. Very impressive.
Damn, now I have to buy this, Need for Speed Shift and Forza 3.
My wife is going to divorce me
I was already thinking...kind of a morbid title for a news item...
Edit: Game looks amazing btw! In terms of graphics I can only conclude nothing comes even close to this...
Crysis is still easily, technically the most advanced game out there.
How are the controls?
You drive like me. Good thing these are just games or I would be out in a field upside down on fire.
j/k
The game looks awesome I might pick it up I need a race game,Im kinda getting bored with Burnout.
From what i have read though the physics are a decent amount better so I think this should be great fun online and with friends.
Amazing lighting really does wonders for racers. More than any other genre it seems.

However, his mod (not really a mod as he "just" altered the Time of Day settings) isn't consistently AS impressive troughout. Many levels and area's (especially shaded area's) still look a bit off, especially with characters and vehicles in place. Still, it kicks the shit out of the vanilla settings and for "mearly" adjusting the TOD settings, it's very impressive what he's done!
I just think the art of Crysis is lacking on many occasions, whereas, in this vid atleast, Dirt seems to nail it perfectly!
Love the lighting in the game though, echo the comments of those above
