Conan Exiles new screenshots

Funcom has delivered new screenshots of Conan Exiles today and has revealed that its partnership with Nvidia announced back in June has allowed the developer to implement Ansel technology to the game. This lets players to take full 360° screenshots. The title will hit Early Access in January 2017.

The art direction looks a bit flat but the world looks rich.
The gameplay video i've seen was interesting.
I grew up with conan movies so i want this to be good.

As always, i just get the feeling that nobody who made this ever even bothered to read any of the source material.

Why even bother calling it Conan when it so obviously has nothing to do with Howard's world and hero?

that aside...another survival game. Yay, don't have enough of those already.

It looks like there were two art directions, first realistic and second cartoony. Trees and grass are sort of realistic, but the structures look like from another game. WTF? It has zero Conan feel. That torso laying on the ground is just ridiculous. Characters are like made from plastic. When I saw one of the first pics I had to say it looks like from Ratchet & Clank and not a Conan game. Really strange.

The worse to me is the plastic mannequin looking dudes.

This could have been an amazing franchise starter, will be very surprised if it doesn't suck, 90 % of screenshots look tacky, graphically and artistically all over the place, doesn't have the feel of a fantasy universe and I suspect from the screenshots (may be wrong) that the gameplay will be repetitive and uninspiring.

well this kinda looks like one of those games from say 2004 when you go to local game shop and they have cheapo £4.99 games made by a dev you have never heard of.
