Xbox 360 PS3

We meet again Condemned 2: Bloodshot, and I see you've been adding some awful monsters to your bestiary! I rarely saw things like that! At least the designers are imaginative. And dark. And gross. The european release date is set for the beginning of 2008 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The images are taken from the PS3 build.

Nice images , I'll buy this game! I played the first one and enjoyed a lot. The only thing that I would change in the game is it's final , I didn't like it! That stupid "ghost" almost ruined the game in my opinion.

I hope they mix up the formula this time. I rented the original and from what I recall you just run through dilapidated buildings hitting weird people over the head with a pipe, over and over and over...

And with shotguns, stunguns, super-stunguns, revolvers, pistols, machine guns, lead pipes, metal bars, axes, 2x4's, crowbars, planks endless list.

It's a survival horror.. I wouldn't expect a bigger weapon arsenal than this.

A revolver IS a pistol, a lead pipe technically is a metal bar, and a 2x4 is technically a plank :P

and it was sweet as hell, first time a game has been anything close to scary since silent hill 2.

game will no doubt be just as good as the first if not better but the graphics are very inconsistent, some textures look good like the characters and faces plus some of the environmental textures, but then you get textures like the table in shot 3 which looks like it was ripped out of a pre ps2 era PC game. very strange.

Is this game about homeless veterans? I'm pretty sure I've seen all those guys somewhere.

Pretty cool looking. And I was surprised to hear that these were from the PS3 build. A developer disclosing screenshots from the PS3 build before the game is released? Other than DMC 4 and Burnout, which used PS3 as the lead platform, this is generally unheard of. Hell, CoD 4 PS3 screens were never released as direct feed shots.

Yea the original had the same problem. Some areas or objects would look incredible (for a launch title) but then other things in the same scene would bring it way down. Better use of shaders and higher res textures would help. We know both the 360 and PS3 can handle it.

The original was the sleeper hit from the 360 launch. I have to say that I don't like what I've seen so far from this sequel though. So many FPS games out these days and this just doesn't stand out from the crowd.

Yeah, but I don't really think the FEAR engine can really go that far.
