hmmm need to see more before i can get excited about it. Still struggling to see how this warrents the £50rrp that will be attached to it..as for me theres still not a clear distinction between this and DLC that GTA4 offered at less than half the price of a full retail game.

I guess I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

It looks like it just throws a bunch of nonsense at the player and allows the player to engage in a bunch of nonsense, but doesn't seem interested in providing the player with any sort of quality experience around that to make it all seem worthwhile. I guess I can understand certain things not being done in the first one, but for the second one to seem like almost more of the same is an insult.

I guess the game has it's fans, however.

Well the first was really just a, or at least I took it as a go in and destroy the gangs type of sandbox game-- I didn't have any outside expectations for it though.
From this video, yes it does look the same, except I think I saw a few zombies... which is just confusing. It still looks quite fun to play, which ideally is the most important aspect of any game for it to survive. I don't think they had any intention on a half-assed story that gamers have come to want or anything of the sort, not sure they have that in mind.
I.e. Think of Unreal Tournament or similar-- believe this is what they're going for.

Either way I think it's something to keep my eye on.

It's a weird world we live in when you know it's not, because it's published by Microsoft.

The game looks great though. The first one was fun but could have used a bit more variety in the missions department. It's still a lot better than most sandbox games though.

Missions in the first were like playgrounds to me,I just appeared there unload like a hundred RPGs or something like that and kick a the boss in the face and that was it.

What I did between missions was the fun for me,climbing buildings, driving my Batmobile, doing stunts with my buggy in the beach, impaling people for no reason at all at walls to use them as platafforms and simple things like that.

the orb collecting was the most fun for me; building up your strength so you could throw trucks at people, building up your jump so you get to really high up places. A really smart implementation of vertical gameplay.
