Press release Xbox 360 PS3

Sega has unveiled the european release date for Crazy Taxi, which is planned for Novembre 24th on both PSN and XBL. Second title in the "Dreamcast revival" series after Sonic Adventure, released in September, the game will cost 7,99€/800MS Pts. Here are a trailer, some new images, and a french press release.

LONDRES, SAN FRANCISCO, PARIS, le 13 octobre 2010 – SEGA® Europe Ltd. et SEGA® of America annoncent aujourd'hui que le remake HD de Crazy Taxi sera mondialement disponible au téléchargement dès novembre. Ce classique remasterisé arrivera en Europe le 24 novembre sur Xbox LIVE Arcade et sur PlayStation Network pour 800 Microsoft Points ou €7,99.

"Crazy Taxi est le second titre de notre revival Dreamcast et nous espérons que cette
sortie fera résonner la fibre nostalgique des fans tout autant que le fit Sonic Adventure
le mois dernier !" déclare Haruki Satomi, Vice Président Digital Business chez SEGA.

Les nouvelles fonctionnalités de ce remake comprennent des graphismes en haute définition 720P, avec une compatibilité 16/9, des tableaux de score et succès, et deux modes de jeux à découvrir - le mode Arcade et le mode Original. Les fonctions classiques sont de retour avec 16 mini-jeux pour mettre à l'épreuve ses compétences de pilotage, d’énormes collines façon San Francisco permettant de véritables vols planés, et même des opportunités occasionnelles d'exploration des fonds marins.

Sweet, that comes to around 6.99 pounds, I've been looking forward to this game. However, if it is has add-ons which are going to be sold seperatly (like what was done SA1), I might wait for a special offer or price drop ^_^;

It's weird but it looks as if both Sonic Adventure 1 and this have gotten actually worse visually

That would be some interesting mayhem, battling for customers.
Sounds fun!

It's nice that they at least gave the game widescreen support, but they should have redrawn the 2-d elements to match. It looks fugly

HO-LEE-SHIT. i dont remember this game looking so crappy. it has PSone level character models. the people have no freaking fingers for christ sake. they could have at least done SOMETHING to make it look better?

it might just be standard practise for all Xbox related trailers, but I noticed in the small print at the end of the trailer on the 2nd line a mention of Kinect, along with the usual xbox, xbox 360 and xbox live stuff....

I think the Dreamcast version looks way better than this even the PSP version looks better. It seems like all this Dc-remakes are being emulated instead of being maked almost from ground zero.
