The third screenshot reminds me of elder scrolls. I don't know why. Looks like a cool game though.

Wow, he really took that guys head off...
I love these fantasy FPSs. Project Offset looks best but this also looks very good. All these PC ports are holding the 360 back, will be interesting to see how it looks on 360.

I'm dying for more info on this game--the brief screenshots and small videoclips we've seen so far just make me want more...much more...

Yay Might & Magic returning to first person.

I can't wait.

EDIT: Project Offset does look spectacular..but I'm hoping for a different sort of game here. I hope that M&M sticks to its RPG roots atleast a little and we don't just get a straight forward FPS game set in a fantasy setting. The most impressive thing about project offset is that it's being handled by about three people right now--they deserpately need a publisher and funding to gather a larger staff so that they can complete the game. As amazing as it looks so far with such a small team, you'd think they'd have several offers by now..

Not that there's anything wrong with fantasy fps either--I for one would love to see Raven handle a new entry into the Heretic/Hexen series.

Is it possible that this is running on the HL2 engine? it's giving me that vibe.

Snoopers already mentioned that it ran on the Source engine in this thread. So yes.

And I'm not sure this game will be anything like Oblivion--they're both fantasy RPG's that can be played from the first person view--that doesn't mean they're going to be doing the same sorts of things now, does it?

So are these PC screens, or genuine X360 screens?

If they are X360 screens, then Gabe's speech about "being a bitch for PC developers to create new code" doesn't seem so bad if they can get stuff out that fast.

This looks like a FPS Action-RPG. Which is totally different from Oblivion which is a Traditional-RPG. I think the world won't be as big in this game as Oblivion, and I expect it to be much more linear since this is the source engine. It can't handle huge worlds with large draw distances as Oblivion's engine can.

hmmm . . .. not that much impressed. Has that familiar low-polygon count PC look. And they really use too much bump-mapping. . . .... but it could turn out to be a very nice game. I'll wait for the first batch of 360-screens

The screenshots are not good, but if you watch the teaser trailer that was released a while back, now that was good. Your weapons fully interact with the enemies. Blocking, stabbing, chopping, you name it.

I know it's likely but to all of the people complaining about PC ports on the 360--has this game even been announced for Xbox 360?

There's more original content than PC ports--there are some great PC games out there--you should be happy you may get to play a lot of them w/ good performance at such a low pricepoint..PC gaming gets expensive. Well worth the cost imo, but there's value outside of gaming there too.
