As the expression goes, it's better to be safe than sorry, something Dark Souls III players will definitely agree on. Jean de la Fontaine once wrote "By time and toil we sever, what strength and rage could never" and it also perfectly applies to the world of Dark Souls, as proven by the amount of time we spent in the prolog area to make sure we'd be up to the task when encountering the first boss. We basically did all that could be done there, found all possible loot, even beat the Katana guy at our first try, and in the end there was very little Vordt could do to stop us. Who cares if we had to summon a ghost to even the odds, the end justifies the means after all.
Note: We decreased the brightness in the game when we captured the videos.

Do you plan on finishing Dark Souls 3? And/or revisit Bloodborne, Dark Souls 1/2?
Good luck!

Also, considering how poorly optimized the game can be, with many camera and hit detection issues, I don't see why it's a problem to avoid a bit more frustration when I can. I don't need to beat a boss on my own to claim I'm a real man. :D

PS. Pissed off at myself because I should have used Tales of Monkey Island instead.

Commented on 2016-04-28 00:16:32This method is also the only effective way I can get that dragon to disappear on the rights side whilst the left side image remains visible in brightness settings. Do this if you find that your having the same issue.
