Dark Souls 2 had me really put off at first, but after coming to terms with what it is (sounds so dramatic, but my hype was off the f**king rails for it) it grew on me. Certainly not as good as the games before it, but still a better and more interesting gaming experience than most action/RPG type games out there. Flawed for sure, but still quite enjoyable. IF Dark 3 manages to deliver that, at least, then i will be happy.
The two bosses i've seen in action from DSIII looks just awesome.
The only downside is that From Soft isn't making Armored Core anymore.
So happy they are making it play more like DS1 but with DS2 improvements.

Zeroex; yeah, it's going to be interesting to see how it works out in the end. I'm a bit torn between the changes. Like the backstabs for example. They are by far easier and more satisfying in Dark 1, when going PvE. But they are completely broken in PvP. Dark Souls 2 fixed this, to where you have to work a bit harder for your backstabs, which i think is good. Works great in PvP, but it's kinda broken in PvE, because all the enemies spin like they are standing on record players making the backstab almost useless. Same with parries, essentially. The timing makes parries rather unfavorable in PvE, but makes spamming almost impossible in PvP, forcing you to really learn the right timing.
I guess it comes down to the kind of content the Souls games deliver. A new series of areas and bosses that all look, feel and play differently from eachother i will always find more appealing than the sort of mission structure that something like AC has, hence i get sick of it a LOT faster (in the case of AC).
But you know, if you don't want to play more Souls, you don't have to. Speak with your wallet :P
If Capcom released a new game that is Street fighter IV but with two new characters and some balancing tweaks, and call it Super Fighter Street Warrior instead, would that then not be milking SF because it's a totally new series?
