DjMizuhara sent us a video of the PS3 demo of Dark Void. Not very different from the 360 version, the game doesn't really shine visually but at least it runs very smoothly.
The demo was disappointing, and for what it's worth I tried it on both 360 and PS3, and the 360 version runs better. The PS3 version has more screen tearing.

As for the demo, well, I am not sure about it - its not bad, I may buy it one day. The thing is, there are way too many "not bad" games to play them all. I guess this is going to be another Bionic Commando for Capcom, which is shame, because I do like some elements of Dark Void.
Same here,like this Jetpack idea,was hopping for a ROCKETEER type game with some cool nazi's drop in,but from what the demo seems...it's rather disappointing !

demo wasnt very impressive... and i'm so tired of hear Nolan North playing Nathan Drake as he lends his voice to these games. The guys a decent voice actor, and i like his voice.. but it's just getting too much now as developers lack imagination and flood the market with a tired and tested character. Plus, it instantly reminds you of far better quilty games like Uncharted, and shadowcomplex, that it must surely end up hidering games like this, and army of two?
Hire the guy, but put his acting skills to the test...instead of having him play Drake in every damn game. I like mario's voice..but i don't want the next lara croft to sound like mario ffs.
As for the demo... it looked nice enough, was a flawless framerate.. but the controls were fiddly, and why didnt capcom show of the verticle combat in the demo? - thats been it's selling point since the game was announced.
i was actually looking forward to this, i thought it may have been capcoms saving grace so far this gen, but no, it's another game to add to their list of mediocrity. it controls like crap, it looks like crap and it plays like crap. the flying is fiddly, the on foot shooting is too floaty, it's mind boggling how they screwed this up so bad.
oh, and i love uncharted, i love nathan drake. but i dont want the guy (nolan north) to be in everything. seriously, it's no exageration when i say he seems to be in every other game that's released (just look at his IMDB filmography, he's the voice whore of the gaming world, and the only one time it's sounded "right" is with drake).
but i guess the whole "every-man" approach to characters in games is working, becasue i honestly can't remember the names of most of the characters he's voiced bar nathan drake. having an "every-man" appearence with an "every-man" voice, in every god damn game just makes them instantly forgettable, just like any guy you pass on the street.
I think the 8 bit version will be much better, that is on the way to the DSi ! :)
And I agree,his voice is just wrong here ! Good Voice actor but I always connect him with Drake since he seems to play each character the same. Maybe the Producers wanted him to sound that way !
Mark Hamill does a good job on his various games I think !
