The still rather unknown Dark Void gets these 17 new images, not too convincing for the most part...

it's outsourced to Airtight Studios, former developers of Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge IIRC.

I dunno, looks cool to me. I like the ship designs, and the landscape reminds me a bit of Total Recall...

See you at the pardy Richter!

the most interesting thing about this game for me is SOTC like bosses :O
The Gears of War influence is pretty straightforward, with the focus on taking cover -- even though it's implemented vertically here -- and the game's use of the Unreal Engine for its visuals. But a more surprising influence comes from Sony's Shadow of the Colossus, which not only is one of the best-reviewed games in recent memory but also is seemingly one of the least likely to inspire a shooter, since it's all about taking down giant beasts in a slow and methodical fashion. As it turns out, Dark Void will have bosses much like those in Sony's game. "The idea there is that you're going to use your jetpack to latch on to these things and kind of scale them," Kujawa says. "It's almost like pecking at this giant boss." And much like in Shadow of the Colossus, there will be parts of these fights where you'll need to hold down a button to keep the bosses from bucking you off.

Face masks, brown, green, purple... It could do with a larger color pallet...
I don't know what to think of it.

Visuallly its not impressive, and looks like a mixture of Mass Effect and Too Human, which isn't terrible, but some originality would be nice. Looks interesting though, the gameplay could be nice.

Also, enough of Gears being the "original" game with a goddamn cover system. HAVING COVER MECHANICS DOESN'T MEAN IT WAS INSPIRED IN ANY WAY BY GODDAMN GEARS!!! My god, people, seriously. Gears was far from the first, and it wasn't exactly all that special really. I mean it was a great cover system, but wasn't all that different.

This needs serious help graphically to reach the level of Capcom. Liked the idea I saw in the first teaser, but this looks bad or early.

I love Gears Of War but you're right, Kill.Switch, Splinter Cell and James Bond: Everything Or Nothing come to mind. I think Dead To Rights did too didn't it? And how about Rolling Thunder 2? :D

Aside from the headline most people wanted to see more of this title. If Blim sees the video, I am more than sure he'll change his mind.

This game looks real intresting and looks good, graphically.

Capcom is sure on a role. RE4, Dark Void, Bionic Commando, SF, and more to be announced.

It is still a ways off. But, holy hell, does the sixth screen look like Mass Effect.

And Crimson Skies was a great game, so I have faith in these guys.
