All shall pay for their treason!!!
Other than that, it looks cool. Compare/contrast with Bayonetta: DS has better design, Bayonetta looks like its going to have a more innovative combat system. We haven't seen much about the combat in this, have we?
But if you go looking for an action game in Darksiders you will be for a surprise because itsmore about exploring dungeons, get this item to enter to previous areas that werent looked but you cannot enter yet exactly like Zelda.
And thats what I find interesting the most Im not seeing this game as a competitor to Bayonetta at all,I will get them both of course seeing as this its my HD mature Zelda Ive been waiting for and Bayonetta its my dream action game.
I will play Bayonetta first contrary to Alimo though :P
......*hugs*
Anyways, the art design is definitely very western comic like which I dont mind at all, like it.
But the game as a whole is something I dont know. I do like what they have showned, but I dont know how long it is, what is there to do when you are done with it...etc.
I do wish there was a demo before release though, kind of like what EA is doing with Dante's Inferno for next week on PSN store.
I will see what happens when the game is out, but so far it looks pretty decent.
And I agree I would like a demo too if only to see and feel the controls because I will buyt it regardless Ive been waiting forever for this as for Bayonetta too so no matter the reviews I will get them.
=)
Games with one time experience is somewhat a pretty much a big no-go for me, that is unless I found the gameplay incredibly fun to go back to (NG games is for me).
So with Darksiders, I dont know, I have mixed bag opinions on it.
I love the explorations, small upgrade elements and such, and the combat is pretty decent and all. But what happens when you complete the game? If there is a new game+ then its okay.
You can even compare this games at all its like if you compare Zelda OoT with DMC I mean totally diferent genres.
And no this game its not better than Bayonetta and Im saying this knowing Ive been waiting this game forever and you can pretty much call me a fanboy of this game too but Bayonetta its above all including this.
Ah ok I see maybe to you I guess but you shoudl put that in your post, then again I do that often when I talk about Bayonetta poting things like if they are facts.
Bayonetta the best action game ever made <------------FACT!!!!!
Will definatly need a demo
You can even compare this games at all its like if you compare Zelda OoT with DMC I mean totally diferent genres.
Bayonetta the best action game ever made <------------FACT!!!!!
Fact 2 : both gotta be released at the same time (more or less) which leads us to
Fact 3: having a choice I pick this over beyonetta (which, for me is just terrible due to awful main character and overall design)
Fact 4 : Comparing Darksiders to OoT is just....lol
Point 2:They will get released at the same time indeed wich lead us to
point 3:having a choice of pickinga game its a matter of personal preference and if you dont like the main character and the design of the game that doesnt make it bad its just not your cup of tea simply as that.
Point 4:I compare Darksiders with OoT because the developers have said many times that they took inspiration of that game and that Darksiders ewill be more like a Zelda game than an action game so the comparison its valid they are in the same genre.
So as you can see you just dont like Bayonetta and we should leave it at that.
I'm pumped to hear this is open world and (IMHO) open world > linear game. But I'm a huge fan of pure action games (one of the few genres where linearity is permissible), so is pure action > freedom? I suppose that depends on the degree and quality of said freedom vs said action. And that has yet to be seen in Darksiders, as many posters have already noted.
But Bayonetta is a dork no matter what, with those damn glasses! :p
Like you for example, you are saying that Bayonetta its a dork no matter what like if it is a fact in your same post, maybe to you is a dork but that doesnt make her a dork just because you are saying she is.
See what Im getting at,if you dont like her thats ok but to say that she is that or this because of it its just silly.
Nonetheless, one of the reasons why I think its funny when you tell us that's just our opinion is, that at least in my case, I *already* know that. *You* already know that. So you saying that to us, in my opinion, clearly has a different function that merely informing us that our opinion is our opinion. And frankly, I see it as a way of reminding *yourself* that anything bad we say about Bayonetta doesn't really matter—a fetishistic disavowal of the (perceived) faults of the game.
Anyway, having played the Bayonetta demo last night, all I can say is that I want her combo system with the design of Darksiders. (But I also wanted Halo AI in the design of Bound in Blood, and that wasn't happening either!)
