Sony shares a new trailer and new screenshots of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy to accompany the announcement that Naughty Dog's standalone game is coming August 22. The title will be available for $39.99 digitally and at retail.
Uncharted at this point is just as tired as Halo or Gears but I only see MS criticized for this. More Horizon ZD, less part 7 of a franchise, please. We need more original stuff.

It's because in the case of MS and those tired franchises it's literally all they've got. With sony a franchise like uncharted is but a small drop in a very large pool. Take it away and you still have tons of exclusives being released. I ultimately agree though. Bring on last of us 2!

yeah I know but it's funny that they've reverted back to the weaker model changing their marketing game to be about sales now.lol
I am so hyped for TLOU2 it's unreal. That's the kind of game you take 2 days off work for and have a four day weekend, and then work from home on the 5th day.lol ND can do no wrong.

I think they always use the slim since its the most likely to be sold and its directed at the baseline userbase (biggest numbers) . There has only ever been one exception as far as i'm aware. The 80's themed COD zombies ad. But i have a feeling that was only used since it harkened back to the whole "now you're playing with power" 80's NES commercial vibe it was going for.
I can't believe the graphics are in real time. The IQ is phenomenal as well with zero visible aliasing and the DOF is also gorgeous. So is this running on the pro because the video is not 4k like the psx demo was?

The Last Guardian? Days Gone? Dreams? Bound? The Order: 1886? The Tomorrow Children? Detroit: Become Human?
Not saying all those games are good or that I'm even interested in all of them, but Sony has invested in a lot of new IPs this generation. Gran Turismo and Everybody's Golf are the only ones they've kept making forever.

I disagree. Still love the franchise. Every game introduces new functions, animations, upgraded graphics, new story, technologies,....for me, Uncharted is still kicking ass. Uncharted 4 was a brilliant ending to Nathan's adventures. But yeah...it's just a matter of personal preference.

Alright korn, ur probably right, as always, you do know your playstation stuff. lol
BTW can you recommend some great VR titles, I was very impressed with the games I played in the VR playroom. I won't lie though I'm kinda scared to play RE7 with it, but I have to.
I hope the likes of ND, GG etc make VR games, even small ones as a side project.

retail wise RE7 is a definite. i'd also recommend DiRT rally, Rigs and Battlezone for games you can really sink time into that play great, they look great and don't cause any sort of discomfort. eagle flight is excellent too although annoyingly doesn't offer a more advanced setting in regards to its comfort mode. it's always on and you can't do anything about it. but again, doesn't make you feel nauseous it's just a little distracting (FOV narrows every time you turn yours head) rush of blood is also really fun, but short lived. basically an old school light gun game where you're in the virtual world.
i also really like driveclub, but i've heard that can make people feel sick. never experienced that personally but love the sense of presence. looks amazing close up but a bit shimmery in the distance.
as for digital games there are loads, but my favorite 4 are Thumper, REZ, Bound(not much of a game but it looks amazing) and teathered. honorable mention goes to superhypercube, but it's a little shallow and way too expensive for what it is.

About the DriveClub...with VR, start to train braking. The braking is messing with Your brain the most. The body lacks the physical reaction and the inside wants to go outside. :-D

Thanks Korn, quite a few games there to consider getting.
RE7 is the first multiplat game i've bought on a console in a long time.
One last thing, are the Until Dawn:ROB and Robinson games any good?
rush of blood is one of the most fun games on PSVR imo, especially for the price, but it's also quite short. it's a really great haunted house fairground ride meets 90's light gun game though.
robinson is iffy. it's essentially a walking simulator with a few basic puzzles. but it looks really nice. the problem i had with it is it makes me feel quite sick after an hour or so. and non of the comfort options particularly help either. it's weird because RE7 is doing the exact same thing in regards to first person movement but you can literally play that for hours without even feeling slightly sick. also short though (5 hours or so) so maybe worth checking out if you can get a good deal.
oh. and i don't use MOVE at all so far. so can't say whether things like batman are good or not, but i hear really good things,
That's either SNES, PS1 or PS2 depending on how you look at it. While PS4 has many really great games, so did those consoles, and in far, far more quantity than PS4 ever will.
I say "ever will" because of many factors, but specially because back then the number of games released per year were a lot more, and also because Japanese developers back then were just killing it left and right. So when one adds all that up, yes PS4 is great console, but it doesn't even get in the "Top 3 of All Time".

They have been using both of those slogans at the end of game trailers this past 5 months now lol. Like nostra or as always the case with him, you were just clearly unaware of this. THAT is all that happened.

Can Naughty Dog take back the crown for best console graphics from GG? Going to be a tough ask.

Chloe (the character) and Laura Bailey FTW!!! :)
Imagine looking at those vistas and then down to the ground, must give a nice adrenaline rush if it manages to convince your brain about the distance.
