Bethesda Softworks has revealed the release date of Wolfenstein: The New Order. MachineGames' nazi-mecha featured shooter set in an alternate 60s will be out on May 20 (May 23 in Europe). Plus, the publisher announced an access to the DOOM beta to anyone who preorder the game, more details here. New trailer inside.

This trailer actually made the game look pretty good...the gameplay footage i've seen didn't though, so who knows. Best thing about this recent wolfenstein news is that it's confirmed doom 4 still exists.

Bahaha great trailer. This will probably be a sleeper hit for best shooter of the year after having played it at Eurogamer Expo. 60fps, excellent shooting feedback, no use for ADS, health/armour packs, smart enemy AI, crunchy goodness.

This trailer should've been in 60fps since the game is, btw.

Hard to believe people are moaning about how supposedly bad the visuals are in this. They look perfectly fine to me. Maybe you should hand your CV in to Bethesda and give them a few pointers on how to improve?

Anyway, I can't see this topping the excellent RTCW. Still looks like it could be a fun game. The music at the end made me laugh.
