Awesome, knew they would release this at some point. The same thing happened with the extended footage of Uncharted 4 2 years ago and the extended footage of The Last of Us from E3 2012. :)

This is clearly one of those games where it looka great in the daylight scenes with the sunshine and lighting but then everywhere else like indoors or at night or when its snowy...it looks average at best.

The graphics nolonger look wow at all

On my most wanted list, like the look of it a lot, just hope the standard PS4 version doesn't suffer too much as I'm not shelling out for a PS4Pro!

Finally an open world game with a real weather system! Looks gorgeous and I can't wait. But seeing as love last of us, and sons of anarchy and since Daryl Dixon is the only good thing about walking dead it seems perfectly catered to my tastes.

Still on the fence with this one. The cinematic style and setting appeal to me, but the zombie don't particularly. I want to see a bit more about what the story arc is about, and also if there is much diversity in settings. Are we going to be journeying across the US?

@droezelke @marklola82 Same person, two accounts??? Or is it a coincidence that you both said one after another the game doesn't look "wow".

Could be worse fellas, it could look like State of Decay 2 and its atroicious animations. The only thing that game has going for it this time is that it ISN'T on Cryengine.

The production is definitely high level here but damn, that gunplay was abysmal, absolutely no feeling to it at all. Hopefully they'll add some oomph to it since I do like the idea of the weather affecting how enemies behave.

To be a clone of the Last of us, the game has to show a story as rich as of the last of us did with incredible characters, and I
believe it will not happen.
By the way, I hope the game have a great story to keep us involved along the time while we play.

To be a clone of the last of us it would also need to be linear. We have already seen well acted scenes in this games 3 showings (im including the trailer) the difference is this is doing the last of us thing on a MUCH bigger scale and with way more dynamic combat. Now i dont think the narrative will be as solid as naughty dog games (what is to be fair?), but i think it'll be better than most, and certainly better then most open world games.

My favorite aspect of this game is that they are trying to do a dangerous open world. You have to be cautious all the time even when free roaming because you can get ambushed or fall into a trap at any time. I love the idea of firing a gun and all of a sudden a swarm of these things come out you because they were roaming nearby and heard the gunshot. They will also follow you indefinitely if you maintain the right distance so there is no running out of their range like most open world games

Its probably a big reason why many people are so disinterested in this game. We don't know anything about the story other than just fighting for survival. And we don't know anything about the world either other than it has zombie-like creatures. We don't know if it has some unique twists to the zombie genre other than that they are alive and need to drink/eat. I don't want spoilers but they need to show some to get more people hyped. Tlou had a twist with the cordyceps which helped with the zombie fatigue even if the rules where mostly the same

i think a big reason why it's not getting a ton of attention (i say not getting attention but it's E3 showing was one of the most viewed videos on yoytube plus it ranked high on social media mentions) is because every time it's shown it looks more scripted than it really is. so people immediately think it's some poor mans last of us. i think it's why they have to resort to these "alternate playthroughs" just to hammer home it's a dynamic open world and not a corridor shooter.

basically it's fallen into the same problem dreams has, where every time it's shown it gives off a certain impression when the reality is kinda different. i mean, there are STILL people who don't understand that dreams is shipping with levels and gameplay just like LBP, they think it's just a creative tool?! lol.
