You must work for Namco...either that, or you're blind, def, and dumb. All they continue to do is churn out the same crap over and over again. Personally, I thought they had a winning formula with Burst Limit if they would have continued in that same direction, but they obviously aren't trying to do that. Way I see it is, if someone needs an Anime game so bad, buy one of the Ninja Storms. DBZ has had too many years, opportunities, and financial gains to not have their formula perfected by now.

This is a reproduction of the Anime. Screw detractors.
Well the "detractors" have a bad tendency of being either Dragon Ball haters or haters of games that came from PlayStation consoles.
These sorry fellas need to be a little thankfull we are able to get a game localized from Japan even if the Dub voice work/actors ruin or crap out the characters or that they may add unnecessary lines of dialogue filled with useless banter not mentioned in the Japanese original or stuff that was never what the Japanese creative crew made.
@kkxprs hey buddy you can freely go on youtube since I am very much sure you never played or just have no skills whatsoever in a Dragon Ball based videogame. You can go and find plenty of comparisons between the PS2 era Dragon Ball Z Sparking series, what you must know as Budokai Tenkaichi.
If you knew that then I would not have to act like a pimp by telling you how limited Budokai Tenkaichi 1 was, how BT 2 added more features like multiple transformations and how BT3 lacked the story mode people grew to love in BT2 but added even more characters/arenas and better graphics despite the fact that the limitation was a console tech finalized way back in the year 1999.
I also would not have to tell you how Microsoft rushed a console generation resulting in what we know have as Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 with GPUs related to compliant Dx9c requirements, and how both of the GPUs are barely 300 million transistors thanks to Microsoft's rushed decision.
I would also imagine you did not even bother to view the video that clearly showed a Super Ozzaru Beby Vegeta of appropriate size and polygon count running around versus the player, I wonder if you imagine just how that would work if it was player versus player and how some dim-wit would cry unfair when its clear that Ozzaru form alone multiplies the power level by 10 and thats not counting Golden or Super Saiyan giant ape form.
There was also Janemba who if you watched the English Subbed Dragon Ball Z 12 movie you would know how big he is, and in other movies, Lord Slug, etc etc, its just not that simple to make a game like that on day one but the best part is how the other guy mentioned they did not even improve the "backgrounds"
Um hello you missed the whole deal with Kamehame ha blasts leaving the beam formation on the ground enviroment JUST LIKE IN THE ANIME/MANGA
And most important of all is that this is a multiplatform title. that is in the current gen where gamers are also expecting online play, just where do you think the money comes from to pay the programmers or find the talented programmers with experience and understanding of just what Dragon Ball is all about.
I bet if I used your mentality to make arrogant presumptuous accusations I bet that you would think that the Hollywood made Dragon Ball live action film is the greatest thing since sliced bread and you definetly did not have a problem with Piccolo moving his hands around making gestures that looked too similar to hand gestures from Star Wars films.
I almost for got to mention that they even added a character customization mode, I mean are you serious, they actually added that knowing full well how huge such a feature like that is for Dragon Ball fans, let alone any videogame fan... Mortal Kombat Armageddon still holds a special spot in many gamers for that feature however limited it was.

I've often wondered when 1on1 fighting games were going to look amazing.
This is a day one purchase for any real Dragon Ball fan specially the ones that have actually watched and read the anime/movies/specials and mangas.
The new stuff they are adding is great and so is the direction.
