DEFINITIVE DEAD OR ALIVE EXPERIENCE COMING TO NEXT GENERATION CONSOLES IN DEAD OR ALIVE 5 LAST ROUND

Explosive Fighting Franchise from Team NINJA to Pack a Serious Content Punch Across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in Spring 2015

Hertfordshire – SEPTEMBER 2, 2014 – Team NINJA today revealed that DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round is currently in development for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The game will be published by KOEI TECMO Europe in Spring 2015, and will be available at the suggested retail price of £34.99 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (physical and digital) and £24.99 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (digital only).

DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round represents the zenith of the DEAD OR ALIVE 5 series, including the best and brightest content from those games, along with all-new content only found in LAST ROUND, creating the comprehensive DEAD OR ALIVE 5 experience.

“DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round marks an exciting step forward for the franchise, and one that fans have been asking for,” said Yosuke Hayashi, Team NINJA leader. “Bringing the game to a new generation of consoles is allowing us to create the most graphically striking version of any Dead or Alive game ever, and we are very happy to give our fans the chance to experience our signature high energy fighting entertainment as only the latest consoles can deliver it.”

DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round will take the signature DOA fighting style to the ring, wrapped up in the most graphically impressive version of a DEAD OR ALIVE game ever seen. The combatants in DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round will present an unparalleled level of life-like detail, and smooth striking animations that will firmly place every fighter in the heat of the moment. The game’s dynamic interactive stages once again boast a range of visually striking locations from around the world, while offering even more destruction, deadly new danger zones and a higher level of strategic choices for players to utilize in the quest for victory.

DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round will deliver the largest roster of fighters in any DOA game to date. Fighters will include: Hayabusa, Hayate, Kasumi, Ayane, Rig, Momiji, Leon, Kokoro, Tina, Lisa, Brad Wong, Jann Lee, Hitomi, Leifang, Christie, Eliot, Leon, Gen Fu, Bayman, Bass, Zack, Helena, Marie Rose, Phase 4 and newly released Nyotengu along with Akira, Pai, Jacky and Sarah Bryant from the Virtua Fighter series. Character customization options get even deeper, as DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round will offer over 300 open and unlockable costumes, and the brand new hairstyle and accessory options will give nearly endless possibilities to adorn the fighters for any occasion. Players can bring their run of rosters, costumes and accessories from DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Ultimate, as previously purchased DLC content will be transferable from last gen consoles to the PS4 and Xbox One.

Currently in development by Team NINJA, more details about DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round will be revealed in the coming months.

They could have improved the visuals at least a bit... It looks exactly the same just higher res + AA.

And after like 100 DLC if this version doesn't have them all then -_-
(the so called Ultimate version lacked ton of DLC and they kept releasing new DLC after it...)

looks like they added a shit load of sparks and other particle effects. The fx designer was obviously inspired by my older posts at neogaf

They're not including any of the DOA5U DLC. It has 300 costumes just like DOA5U did before the came out with like 20 DLC packs.

But yeah don't expect any major graphics upgrade. Even TLOU only upped the resolution and framerate

I like the new outfits and all but seriously, let's move on with the graphics. I finally want to see a nice realistic looking characters, the same goes for my favorite Dynasty Warriors series. We already got the consoles so let's see something tasty.

I get the huge games can't get serious new-gen upgrade port (a new fad it seems) but come fucking on, this is a fighter, can't you at least put more polygons and better textures for character models, jeez...

If you want realistic characters, DoA is the wrong franchise to look for. Imo DoA5 looked outdated for last Gen. Shaders and other effects were just far behind competition. They could have used this release to practice new technologies or improve on their engine. Instead they change nothing and keep falling farther behind technically.

Anyways, I am still waiting for DoA Xtreme Kinect.

Instead of porting this stupid game they should have made NG3 Razors Edge or just better, focus on making NG4 on next gen.

Worst thing is they will be releasing the game in 2015 with practically no visual upgrades and still charging for DLCs for a game that was released in 2012 and the Ultimate edition in 2013.

Almost all other games being released for current gen include all DLCs, like: TLoU, SR4, Metro: Redux, H1-4:TMCC and etc. Wow! Serious cash in, really.

I believe that DLC can be transferred for anybody that bought them before. Except it really isn't fair if you jumped console like 360 to PS4. So they really should have included them all on disc regardless. I am all for HD remakes but only announcing the game closer to the end of 2014 is a bit late. It would be okay if it was launched within the first 3 months of the new consoles being out but at this stage in the generational they should be showing us a teaser of a brand new game at least.

Holy s#it, can't believe they are that money hungry, only excuse for this release was to finally make a last edition of the game which has all the content ever released, but no. I hope nobody buys this...

Also tlou didnt just up the res, the textures are higher res, so are the shadows and also doubling the frame rate is no small difference. Compared to this crap it's a release I'm willing to pay for.

I had DOA5 and it felt like the most unpolished game of the franchise. once again to has ugly shadows and textures. level designs are also lackluster.

Team Ninja shows how good they really are without Itagaki.

This has over 70 more costumes than DOA5U at release so it does include some of Ultimate's DLC, its also 10 bucks cheaper and includes the 3 DLC characters. Its a very good value.

cute girls, huge boobs, childish faces, the appearance of underwares
all these aspects are more important in Japanese games than anything else.
That is why a game full of cute girls outsold the last of us remaster in Japan

Awesome new for me. Always regretted not getting DOA 5 the first time around. I was in the bankrupt Donald Trump phase. Now I'm in the rich Donald Trump phase (temporarily).

Still regret paying for DoA5 on PS3, not gonna make the same mistake again, haha :P

Does DoA even ahve the sales to warrant a next gen port? I'm kinda sceptical.
