Dead Rising 2 Case Zero video

Dead Rising 2 Case Zero video

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero was released last Tuesday exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade. For 400 Microsoft Points only, you get to play the prologue of Dead Rising 2, which gives you a taste of what to expect in the final game. Moreover, you can upgrade your character up to level 5 and save it for the real thing in late September. Some will say it's just a promotional demo fro which you have to pay but for the fans, the cheap price and the content definitely makes it worth their while. Here are two videos, the first one being the introduction of this short episode while the second one shows the very first case. By the way, in case you are wondering, we edited the videos so that the - awfully long - loading screens do not appear to break the pace.

For 5 bucks it's a great alternative even for those who don't want to give full price for DR2, but wnat some Zombie Massacre.

i guess it depends on how long it is. You could view it as a paid for game demo, or you could view it as a chapter...offering as much content as games like Limbo, for half the price.

Theres a demo of the "demo" anyway thats free to play for all..and thats as lengthy as any other demo in itself. Really made me remember how awesome Dead rising is to just kill some time on. Great sandbox game.

Loading times not fixed? No unlimited co-op survival? Same rushed/time-based career? Lame. I don't give a damn about the story, I just want a fun zombie survival game. Leave me alone and let me destroy the undead until I make a mistake and they overpower me, let me do it with a friend and I'll be twice as happy.

Blimey, I remember dead rising 1 looking better than this. The texture resolution is shockingly low. The character movement feels lethargic and laboured. As someones mentioned, the time based gameplay is still there, where's the incentive to explore If everything you do is against the clock?, for a game with such a diverse array of weapons, you feel like you don't get the chance to find them.

Dead Rising without time limit is not Dead Rising imo. All of that tension will be gone and the game will be like every other game...

''the character movement feels lethargic and laboured''

Did you remember Frank from the first game, when is lvl 1?

Agree with you about graphics. DR1 looked better and has more stable framerate than Case Zero.

...damn its fun and in the end thats what counts for me. love it. making the vpn work was a pain in the ass but for me it was worth it.

Since when were zombies ever about time limits? Maybe for certain sections if someone is trapped and you have to get to them, but the key element for all things zombie is survival. Time goes on forever and the only thing that ends it is your demise, not some crappy clock hitting zero.

Moonwalker very quiet when it comes to Vita. However, the launch of the 3D was crap and look how its doing now. Vita actually had a really decent/gpod launch. I expect and hope that Sony reveals some promising (31 minutes ago)
