We've been invited last week by Microsoft to check some of the launch titles of the Xbox One. We had many technical issues with the footage from the event, but we managed to more or less have some of them being watchable. So let's start with Dead Rising 3, since we never managed to get any videos from this game before. Don't expect great quality, and there is no sound.
Update: Added a second gameplay video.

But I liked the colourful camp of the old ones.
I'll still keep an eye out on this, though... since... well... massive amounts of zombies!

As for people saying this doesn't look all that special. I can see why you say that, but still....fire up Dead Rising 2 and see the big difference.

Releasing much more technically advanced consoles just wouldn't be feasible, because the majority of console buyers won't pay more than $400 for that and a console that isn't profitable after 1 or 2 sold games is just not good business.
look at killzone it looks years ahead of any shooter on last/current gen even killzone 2 and 3 which still look great
I actually saw an Nvidia demo of realtime raytracing, but it was "just" a glass box with fluid in it. Impressive but hardly capable of being done on a full game scale. There are some interesting things coming that have to do with "faking" raytracing coming down that have ties to what MS has done with the X1 architecture and DX11.2+. There are also things using Open GL coming down. Check out the brigade2 engine. I wouldn't be surprised to see some Raytracing this generation...
Just looking at what Crytek is doing with Ryse or Guerrilla are doing with Killzone and not see that these machines are going to be great. Stop comparing their specs to PCs. They are not the same...
