Hm, textures on those monsters are really ugly, but I like the athmosphere of the game. When gameplay is good, and the story interesting, this could become a great game!!! Looking forward...

if it turns out to be atmospheric and creepy rather than a alien slaughter-fest in space it might be good. I like the visuals well enough, and i can't even remember when last i saw a dark, moody sci-fi game with a horror theme.

It just looks uninspiring and bland, but that wierd looking gun with the triple laser sight looks kind of intresting i hope they try to add some innovation with it.

looks great, I just hope story is good and you´re not shooting all the time. At least it´s not another FPS, that´s good.

It reminds me a bit of that old "ALIEN TRILOGY" for PS1. And that was, IMO, a very cool game!!!

The enemy character design really worries me.

imo they aren't really that creative or inspiring. Everything else looks good though, and with a bit of polish here and there it can visually look really good.

Like people have said above as long as it isn't just constantly shooting hoards of aliens and the gameplay and story is well thought out, i'll be buying (Y).

Graphicswize, the game is really really really average. And the story, it's too soon to tell anything about that. So it's really a waiting game for now. I have my doubts though. As this looks a lot like Mass Effect, I doubt it'll be anything better than Mass Effect.

Mass Effect? One is an RPG with shooter elements (Mass Effect) and the other is a horror shooter (Dead Space). The only similarity really is that they are both set in space with aliens... oh, and guns are used.

love the art style and design. that helmet rules. sure as hell beats the typical bollocks anyway that you see in games like haze, halo, mass effect. could be good tho, definately getting "the thing" vibes from it which is a great thing, i just hope is plays more like a horror game then a straight up shooter. unlike darksector which had the chance to go either way but went for a generic shooter direction.

i hope you see his face at some point, becasue with the green glow behind the mask he almost doesnt look human.

`The Thing` in space is what I definately agree on for sure!. Loved the film, loved the original game too, so if this ends up anything like it, then it`s onto a winner.

The video`s atmosphere kinda reminded me of Alien, when Ripley`s onboard the Nostromo, trying to seek out an alien life form she`s yet to see with her own eyes (or us as the audience too). The atmosphere it created was truly spectacular and it`s the same here.

The only problem is, that in the trailer, all the hard work just seemed to come undone for me when all of a sudden.... "Roooaaaarrr !!!".... erm.....there`s your monster/s people!. The atmosphere died a death, as being kept in the dark not knowing what the hell you`re facing is far scarier IMO, than the game simply blurting out the enemies too soon.

You all remember AvP-2 on the pc?...... oh my god! rofl. I changed my kegs more times during the first half an hour of gameplay than ever before in my entire life!.

Atmosphere in that game truly shows us all how it`s done and to me, facing off against an angry group of aliens in any horror game isn`t quite as scary as the parts leading up to the point of delivery.

It still looks good, but I`ll leave my final judgements until it launches.

Haha good one man!

This game is sci-fi...it is not about demons and angels, satan vs god :S

Its about a engineer trying to survive.

i always get a good laugh when reading remarks about design choices because i know for a fact no one else in this forum could even come close to those...............

on topic, this looks good enough to me. and from what i read about the game, its the atmosphere that they are focusing on the most, so im definitely interested to see more.
