Dead Space will be a full remake of the original 2008 game and it will be released on January 27 2023 on PC, Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5. A first real trailer showing some gameplay sequences has just been unveiled so here it is in its Youtube version (not that we have any hopes to get a better one anytime soon...).

if anything Calisto without the prerendered/cutscenes they used to present us initially and going on the few gameplay loop/snippets of a minute or so... IT IS A GENERATION apart, almost. CP aspirations are really just the AA type of game (just look at the dev outfit, brought from the ground up) and really decent effort for a first time gig but filled with Jank and no polish. Even the performance is WAY bad compared to this remake. And seems a bit deprived of unique ideas/tone to set it apart of Deap Space brilliant take on Aliens/Sci-Fi horror.
On the other side, Motive past projects are nothing to laud on, but they are always good to impressive in the tech/presentattion, and all they need to do is keep the development helm on the original blueprint to deliver an insane game.
