Disney Interactive has released the fifth and last making of Split/Second where developers talk about the gameplay design. The game is available today in Europe.
So let me get this straight. The developers only promote the game before it comes out and then it's over? It's like totally everyone in the world has to be hyped up for the game release and buy it right then. I usually don't care about games before they come out because I wanna see the reviews and stuff but I've noticed that a lot of people just get hyped up and they might get disappointed later after they get what they preordered :/
I've been playing this one today, and it quite surprised me! It's good fun, but they should have added normal takedowns like in burn-out to give the races just a little bit more franticness :)

When I played the demo I also missed the dirty bumping and takedowns.
It felt like fun anyways but I wonder if it's able to keep people playing. Usually with games like this it's fun at start and then it just gets repetitive and boring. That's what has happened to me while playing Pure, for example.
