Here are two videos of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The first one shows two bonus weapons while the second one features a new level. The bad news is that, in order to get all this, you will need to pre-order the game as it has now become usual. Again, there goes the debate about why some players should get free stuff for pre-ordering when others will also pay the game full price and get nothing.

Cosmetic items exclusive to stores i can just about stomach because they have no standing on the gameplay, or package as a whole. But offering full levels is taking the piss abit.. as ofcourse theres no excuse for it not to be on my disc..and all likely hood that it was once on my disc (and for all i know still on the disc only now locked untill they attempt to charge me extra).
The only positive thing i can see in this case is that atleast the extra contents aren't console exclusive like with saw with say Batman.. where i would be charged the exact same amount when buying the 360 version only to get less game for the charge.
Sadly, it looks like the preorder bonus is attached to gameshop alone.. which may be a good thing if it means this is simply for the american market?
It boasts a suppressor and increased range but I think you can get these for the SR in game anyway meaning that its only truly unique feature is its camo paint job.
Not that it matters for me because gamestop isn't even in the UK.
Anyways, I can't wait to get this game!

guess i'm mistaken?
This game went from preorder to maybe an afterlaunch buy if it turns out better.
And DLC is evil. It should be forbidden by law.

Anyway, yeah this pre-order mission business sucks. I hope those weapons are just things you get later in the game, and not made exclusively for pre-order, because remote-controlled explosives, sniper rifles, and some rifle definitely don't scream special.
So i will add this, Dues Ex franchise was screwed over to appeal to console gamers, so in essence, console gamers got a game they would enjoy and the pc base got royally fucked over :P
Hurts dont it.

i said that in the context of producers boosting their sales at the cost of gammers that aren't immediatelly jumping into their pants to buy the game, before its even out (they wont get that extra content).
They have yet to show anything compelling that would make me believe this compares to the original Deus Ex, or even Invisible War for that matter. Pre-scripted "close quarters kills" and the like don't sit too well with me. I love the storyline and unique gameplay of the series, I am just keeping VERY low expectations for this one...
