Ughh, what is with the static cartoon avatar in the corner, looks totally out of place. I wasn't expecting to be disappointed by anything in this game. Yuck. I got a reality check.

I liked it. It has a really nice style and looks fun to play. Can't decide if I'm going to get it for my consoles or for my PC though. Maybe I will be as crazy to buy it for more than one system.

If it wasent for the artdesign, cyberpunk sci fi and awesome music and the fact its a action RPG, I wouldnt bother.

The universe, music, art and the action RPG alone is what makes me really want to to play.

Though I hate the fact there arent hands and feet in this day age, lacks the immersive feeling when you see you are dragging an enemy on the floor with no hands or grabbing floating objects...etc.

Looks sweet, but... worst guards EVAR! Well maybe not ever, but I'd like to see an alternative to guy-keeps-back-to-main-avenue-of-approach style of sentry. I would like to see the guys hands too, I like having a "body"...

yeah the static picture of those communicating to you isnt great..i guess its placed due to performance issues rather than lack of effert..although..

I am really impressed with the fire though, and they obviously have faith in the ps3 version which makes a change from the norm. And the vids not bad for showing 5mins of gameplay that varies quite abit from the last. If the whole games as open to choice as that then i'll be pleased.

can't wait for this. it's not much of a looker, but there is something awesome about it. i like that there seems to be a decent amount of options, and the fact you can complete the enitre game without killing ANYONE already has me payched. can't imagine it'll be as good as deus ex 1, but i dont believe for one second it'll be as horrendous as invisible war. as it stands day one. but reviews could change that.

I don't wanna bitch, but these screens do not have the strikingly vibrant look of previous screens. They look quite dissapointingly grainy although I still expect the world from this!

I want to see something of my character in the screen, I dont want to feel like Im sollowing a camera man using telekinesis everytime he picks something up.

One of the reasons I cant even watch Half Life games, while it seems the entire world consider it like top 5 games ever I cant even see it.

And yes Im glad I started to play FPS until recently.

I have to say not liking that little image of whoever you're talking to but release has been pushed back from this month to August so maybe it is something they are polishing?

Loved each DE so far even invisible war with its problems like all in one ammo.

I thing its the choice that they give you as to how to complete the mission that is most appealing, combining it with this art style and what looks to be a neat inventory system (combining and such) and I end up still looking forward to it =)

I do agree with Raptor on this one, no feet is not issue for me (weird reason tbh) but hands, the lack of it is just bad!
FPS are suppose to be immersive, to see your character's hand interact with vehicles, doors, objects, weapons...etc. is a part of it, and this game lacks.

For example opening doors and vents and such, you press a button and they magically open, just annoying.
In this day and age they are suppose to have these type of stuff.

Still, no reason for not playing this game :)

the reason they do that is probably becsue it would be FAR too much work, in the past games you could pretty much pick up an throw anything, from something small to something big, and all different shapes. to create an animation for each one would be far too much work, especially seeing as you can pick them up from any and all angles. i mean, sure, they could do it, but it'd take forever. the alternative would be to have some generic "grab" animation, but that would probably look worse.

yep, you can interact with ALOT more in this game than you could with say Halo or killzone.. so it should be worth the absence of hands.

Ofcourse it would be little effert to force the bodys closer to the camera when dragging so you remove seeing floating limbs you're supposed to be holding

and the animation look weird when doing so becasue they havnt made an animation for EVER object. just a generic one that they've tried to make fit all objects.

that's the problem. you either have no hands visible. or you do, but it looks a bit 'meh'.

I rather have them in than have some magical thing draging bodies or just see floating stuff.

What is the point of having a white dot in the centre of your screen?
the "point" is the same as having a reticle for shooting. it's there to know where the centre of the screen is so you can, you know....aim. seeing as you pick objects up, it's better to know where the centre is then not.

what an odd question?

Or, when you want to interact with a small item, you need the dot to have that precision aim towards the item so you can interact.

exactly. imagine picking up individual bottlecaps in fallout 3 with no retical...it'd be a nightmare. same situation applies here.

I am not bothered with as long as there is a way to have fade in-out, having it on all the time, would be annoying a bit.

My biggest issue is the lack of arm other than holding a gun and even that its barely there.
But ah well, good thing i like the game for other stuff. I hope the augmentations are cool.
