Eidos Montréal just sent us the high quality live action video The Mechanical Apartheid. It shows how the mechanical-augmented people suffered from side effects and how this generated global catastrophe, hatred, fear, and division between "Augs" and "Naturals". Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming on August 23rd.

Sadly though, I suspect someone, somewhere is going to get all butt hurt about the use of the term "Apartheid" in reference to a video game : / and make a big deal out of it.

Even if it ends up being the best reviewed game of the century I will not purchase it if they are splitting it into episodes to milk the cash cow.

Tbh i'm more worried if some game destroying dumb decision of online only functionality is shoe horned into it. Like not being able to use a sniper rifle you unlocked unless you maintain a constant connection to the unreliable square enix servers...
