Xbox 360 PS3

Electronic Arts released this first developer diary of Dead Space, looking as interesting as ever.

the monsters remind me of creatures in "the thing". Great movie....

The gameplay looked bad ass!

The only thing I don't like about the game right now is the main characters helmet, looks ugly.

Another thing, I hope EA doesn't screw this game over like they did with Army of Two.

Big potential, but feels loose in most of the department.
Hopefully this is the Resident Evil of sci-fi space game...something Dark Sector should have been (damn you Digital Exremes, damn you)

Nice!!!
Cool enemies but overall, awesome blood effect.

the streaming on this site just keeps getting worse and worse. Why can't you guys have a streaming system like gametrailers? :(

Well... interesting. Might get it for PS3, but still not 100% sure about gameplay. There should be a story line and not just killing monsters.

His comment at the end "I'd like people to walk away and think that was the scariest game I've ever played".

I should have been, "I'd like people to walk away, and not take the game straight back to the store and trade it in for something that works properly out the box, and is not full of bugs, and the online works properly, and the quality is considerably better, just to leave mountains of our new game piling up in the second hand bargain bin."

I bet they've already planned to release Dead Space 10 down the line, with no new features or improvments.

Looks so awesome!

Reminds me of other dismemberment games like Dark Sector with its glaive, chopping off body parts and the blood starts to spray out all crazy and Ninja Gaiden 2 :D

The athmosphere of this game is just so tight. The whole design is cool. Really caches me. Hope the story will get more interesting during the whole game, that's very important for me. If the only goal is to escape and shoot down those creatures, it will get boring very quick...
Wait and see is the divise.
Holy moly, take that away Sath, can't stop looking at it. So great animations, if every opponent is made like that.... WOW!!!!

I still stand by what I said...I hope this is sci-fi space Resident Evil!
And yeah I hope you could do stuff like that to all the enemies, would be very neat.
