PS3

Capcom released this gameplay video of Devil May Cry 4, from the demo playable on the demo PS3 in Japan. Nothing really new, but it's still nice to see an expert playing this type of game.

CATCH THIS, SLAM DUNK, HERE YOU GO! SLAM DUNK! GO DOWN!

Oh err! bit too much chat on the combos there! I would get really FED up with that!

I'm a Big DMC fan tho!, looking superb!

I would have preferred the Japanese voice to the American "Slam dunk!" annoying as hell.

Game looks cool though, im sure one of the monsters was trying to run away at the end there lol

I think this IS the japanese voice, in the sense that I think he speaks english in the japanese game aswell. It's most definitely annoying though, one can only hope they undercut this with the same kind of awesome humour DMC3 used. I really think the series hit its stride with 3, and it boggles my mind that they seem to have reverted it again.

I remain open though, bring it on.

Yeah. My PS3 just cleared customs, so I'll get it sometimes next week, with a hefty 131 euros custom tax too :(

Impressive lighting, but it's not as jaw dropping as I initially thought.

And that's why it's so much more expensive here. Sony can't sneak it by like some people manage to do. :(

lol Sony tried to qualify the PS3 as a PC as it makes it cheaper to sell in UK but the judge declined.

On topic: It's DMC4...What do you want me to say? lol :p Thanks for the vid.

No antena, that was the PS2. The laws have been removed since then, but they still had to pay for the PS2's. THAT charge no longer adds to the price, this is different.

How the F*** did you pay that much import tax ?

Actually you shouldn't even have to pay tax on games, at least i never do, I've only ever had to pay on importing hardware, or expensive items.

Looks cool, I like the sounds (except for the main character, please, shut that dude up allready!)

Very nice lighting and level design, very pretty!

Still can't see any proof of that "free cam" yet, someone mentioned it has that "reset behind character" option, but why doesn't anybody use it..?

It doesn't have that. The guy you refer to meant that the camera wasn't static - which someone suggested.

The camera is always moving, but it has set angles from which it shows the action.

I played the game at TGS -- AND YOU CAN move the camera.

Use the right analog stick to move the camera around, and if you click it in it resets behind the character.

However, if you don't touch the right analog stick the game automatically moves the camera in the best point of view. So technically, you don't have to baby-sit the camera like you have to do in lets say Ninja Gaiden.

However, if for some reason there is a piss-poor camera angle or situation that arises, you can always move it around with the right stick.

This is what I'm talking about. The PS3's exclusive titles are what makes it stand out..this is definitly one game that I look forward to playing on day one. I hope they get some solid support out the door early in 2007, I'm looking forward to seeing the library of solid games grow.
