Hopefully the game is fun, because graphics-wise, it looks like an N64 game on the multiplayer pictures lol. Jeebus....

I thought it looked alright for a Wii game but I do always subconsciously underestimate the Wii.
But seriously not many people (given the choice) would pick this version over the PS360PC versions.
Did I say "not many people", I meant "anyone in their right mind".

Keep in mind the retail price of the Wii version will cost pretty much the same as a 360 version! 1/3 the quality at the same price. Good luck with that.

If you take a look at the car in the second picture, it looks o.k. I have no problem with that. Wii owners need some serious stuff, not everyone likes mario cart... But yeah, I'll defenetly buy it for my X, and not for Wii

The trailer takes most of the "it looks like the N64 version" feeling away, but the car models lack detail and proper lighting which to me seems most noticable. At least it seems to run smooth. Real shame the Wii is getting so much lacking software (or garbage), there still is quite a bit of potential for the machine.

Okay I've just watched the video, and it is so bad, looks bad, feels bad, my good old ps2 did much more then this. Why every 3rd party game sucks on wii?

i think it looks good to say its on the Wii,i mean i seen a few xbox 360 games that aint much better(damnation,conflict denied ops,v8 supercars)

its the devs that are lazy,its like kids games,they leave them with laods of glitchesd and crappy graphics compared to what they could make them look because they now if its on there system and kids want it there parents are almost force to pay for them

If you look at the cost of the Wii + the cost of it's games, I think we all have the right to expect enough value for our money. Looking at what is presented here, i would say that the value is very very low. Saying that the games on xbox360 "aint much better" is a bit of an exaggeration.

I bought the ps3, xbox 360 and a Wii and althoug the wii has some good games, i do feel a bit cheated out of my cash when i see such footage.

Oh, it's a Wii is it... so a Wii is a Next-Last-last-gen system that can't even replicate one of the visually best games of last generation? Resident evil 4.
Surelly i'm not mistaken. : )

I miss rallisport challange 2, and devs who can really use the potencial of a system.

the 4 player splitscreen is giving me n64 flashbacks, no other console since had a greater ratio of 4player splitscreen games, combined with the crap graphics this feels like a visit to an old friends grave. i'll bite if its budget priced. i need to pay my respects.

Well it doesn't look awful but it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't even surpass the five year old Xbox game, RalliSport Challenge 2. I'm sure the Wii is supposedly to more powerful than the Xbox.

Cool that it has four player splitscreen though but my money's going on the PC version.

^Nah, the Wii is negligably more powerful than the Gamecube, let alone the Xbox. I'm yet to see bump mapping, let alone normal mapping on the 'Cube, er Wii. This game looks like the team that was handed this project was not happy to get it. I don't have my Wii anymore, but even if I did I can't see why I would waste my money on this when I have any other options...

PS2 era graphics, but that's to be expected from the Wii (which is nothing more then a tweaked Gamecube in a new box and with new motioncontrols)..

It amazes me how many people are still willing to pay full price for a Wii.. The hardware simply isn't worth it.. Maybe it was at launch, but now that long after launch it surely isn't anymore.. I guess alot of people don't care about that (or simply don't know anything about hardware etc), aslong as it's enough fun to them.. You cannot blame Nintendo for not lowering the price offcourse if demand stays that high, they'll cash-in aslong as they can..

One has to give you props for going through the motions of writing that exact same post worded differently in every Wii thread possible, Inflatable. I don't think anyone has as much invested in the Wii - fans or otherwise - as you. :)

As for the game at hand, seeing how they borked the Excitetruck sequel there's certainly a window for a proper accessible multiplayer racing experience that ISN'T Mario Kart. Me and a friend were playing Pure recently aghast at its lack of local split screen, and that's exactly the kind of thing one expects from a Wii game at this point. In a world where multiplayer means sitting alone in your room I find myself yearning for this kinda stuff.

Granted, Pacific Rift has bases rediculously well covered already, but even so there's no bare essentials rally game in that space anymore.

@SimonM7, that's probably because I don't understand the succes of the thing.. And that's while I've been gaming all my life, since Atari's Pong.. It kindof frustrates me why the Wii is so succesfull when it doesn't appeal at me at all.. I feel kindof cheated by it (last-gen tech, and still succesfull).. Not that it bothers me at all in reallife though, only on the internet when I see news about it, I have to comment and speak my mind.. Sorry if it bothers you.. ;)
