Now we have had a bit more time to play DiRT Rally 2, we find the handling excellent overall (with a gamepad, our wheel still causes performance issues in the game for some reasons). The different stages we've tried are much more interesting than those of DiRT 4 and they can even look pretty good. The more powerful your car is, the more difficult it is to drive and even the American stages gave us a bit of a hard time with the old Subaru (something we never experienced in the boring US stages of DiRT 4). This has got some really nice dust effects. Seems in some instances it hangs around for a really long time and even drifts with the wind.

Could you guys confirm if a costant online connection is required for single player progression?
