Bethesda's other FPS, Dishonored, gets some new screenshots too. The game is being developed by Arkane Studios and will offer players several ways to broach the missions. Set to release next year on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Looks cool, but the gameplay sounds very interesting so I hope they show gameplay soon.
I really love'em, them shinny swords.
Ontopic: if there's stealth, I will atleast try it out. (hopefully good story aswell)

The NPC's look could've been one of fable's generic enemies....

But the combat and gameplay sounds interesting, guess we have to wait and see.
Strip poker?
However, the art and the design of the game seem very inspired in my opinion! A brand new world and franchise to explore, with Half-Life 2?s art director (Viktor Antonov) working on it.. really, can't wait for it! =)

Yes, Mirrors Edge looked quite nice, but it used fairly simple geometry, repeating textures, and a very limited color palette. Ask yourself, would the game look that nice and run smoothly if it were in a geometrically diverse environment like a jungle or forest?
BTW, your obsession with arsehole raping is somewhat frightening...
Now the irrational Idea that the UE3 engine being underutilized means it's a bad engine (plenty of evidence to the contrary) is a different matter...

Anyway, I guess I was exaggerating by saying that UE3 is a crappy engine. There are some damn fine looking games out there that utilize it very well (Arkham Asylum immediately comes to mind). The problem is, most of the ones that do it really well are either from the creators of the engine, or devs that are overly familiar with it. It also leaves many games having a same-y look, mainly due to the developers reliance on pre-developed assets.
It is definitely possible to get some nice visuals out it, I was merely commenting on how far too many games rely on it, rather than taking a chance on one of the many lesser known graphics engines. I just think that variety in game engines can lead to some amazing things, and I wish more devs would take chances.
For example, take the amazing Avalanche engine from Just Cause 2. Best draw distance this gen, great lighting, good physics, little pop-in, excellent textures and blending, above average animation, etc. No one has touched it. What about the destruction engine from Red Faction Guerilla? Nope, nothing. Euphoria? Amazing physics engine that actually improves gameplay imo, yet only a very small handful of games took advantage. Those are the things that really wow me, and it only seems to happen when developers take a chance on some new tech...
