As for this...DoA really has a weird combo system. It's like the combo starters from a 2D-fighter. Like a mid jab that leads in to a combo? Wut? It's so strange :P
I think the devs are probably bored with creating this series, thus the lack of any real effort anymore. Kinda like how Bungie got burnt out on making Halo games and so they slowly sort of went downhill from the first and second game, until Halo 4.
DOA5's character's don't look too bad, it's environments on the other hand. I remember having the same thoughts of it a while back when i played the original DOA5 on it's release. needs normal mapping textures.

I've never collected more than 5 worthy exclusives for either console, which is the only reason why I bought any console. So yeah, I've never owned more than 5 games for either of them. I have hundreds of games for my PC, however, and many more than 5 worthy exclusives for it. There are tons of PC exclusives. Some are not worth mentioning, but there are many that are.
I can't even join in with ya'll console vs PC argument, knowing there are plenty of homeless roaches out there. I seen a dead frozen roach in the snow today. Count ya'll blessings people....count ya'll blessings.

I'm not even nearly rich, at least thank god for Steam. the biggest game investment to make on PC is definitely Skyrim legendary edition. it's absolutely big enough to keep you busy, even bigger with the mods. great for saving up money to get better hardware upgrades. and then there are free to play games also on pc like project spark, vindictus, Tera, and Hawken. (Black Desert will also be free to play.)

Dead or Alive 5 looked bad back in 2012, and IMO, was a pretty big step down from Dead or Alive 4 in terms of graphics. The character models looked better, but everything else looked much worse. The textures were noticeably lower quality and the bright colorful stages were replaced with bland industrial looking environments.
This is just a budget port of the PS3/360 versions with some additional content and very minimal graphical improvements. This is in no way an indicator of what current gen systems are capable of. Hell, the PS4/X1 versions even have the exact same low-quality textures as the last gen versions. Surely, no one is going to argue the PS4/X1 aren't even capable of producing better textures than the PS3/360.
Whoever started that "master race" thing should be ashamed... such a stupid claim and so very stupid to use such a rassistic term in connection with a (our) hobby. I play games on every platform since days of the commodore, and had a blast with so many titles on so many different systems since then. Man I was a big fan DOA2 on the DC, they really need to push it like MKX it looks dated to me and they could do way more cool stuff with the backgrounds for that was their bag(the break through etc). Does not look much different than DOA4 and 5 on the 360. I guess I will wait for the next VF or DOA6 that I hope will be at the level of MKX quality. Was tempted to get it on the PC I guess I will wait for a Steam sale later in the year.

I speakth not in metaphors, but in realth everyday life. When I say roach, I mean the household insect roach. Roaches are such noble creatures. yeah.
I believe the term master race is referring to the benefits and fewer restrictions from sticking to the origins of electronics. Most big spenders use the term as well for more bang for your buck. Nothing racial. Fortunately for lower income gamers (like myself) can eventually own the same or equivalentlcy in specs.
Can I just say DOA5 would be super if modders did something crazy for this game, like skyrim. I know I'm wishing but I could do with a texture and lighting overhaul enhancement.

And the really sad thing is that DoA4 looked really underwhelming when it was released. It looks like DoA3 in HD, but was lacking stuff that made DoA3 amazing looking for its time. I am still impressed by little things like the deformable snow of that game.
What Team Ninja delivers here is an out right joke. The only thing they improve on is the polycount of the characters. And the way they use them is ridiculously inefficent. I remember seeing wireframes of their models in a team ninja game. They waste thousands of polygons on shit like sword hilts. They are simply incompetent...
