Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have confirmed the return of Lisa "La Mariposa" Hamilton and Kokoro in Dead or Alive 6. The publisher also unveiled NiCO, the second original character to join the roster who practices Pencak Silat and is known as The Lightning Technomancer.

This game looks terrible. Like an old dx9 game. If I wanted to pay or pff for only gameplay I'd still be using just a 360 or a Wii.

Some new devs need to take the reigns and give us something new, something impressive. It's an open genre ripe for the taking and has been for over ten years. I've been waiting that long for something new and interesting to come to the fighting genre. It doesn't make sense. Plenty of other people have also been waiting a long time. Even the pseudo 3D sidescrollers have surpassed this crap over the past few years.

Agreed. Vs fighters were once graphical wonders and these days open world games look better lol

Do you play For Honor? Are you playing the new Lethal League? I'm guessing you haven't given many of the unique fighters that have popped up over the last several years a shot. Building systems that appeal to broader/casual audiences is probably more important than "making something new".

Things changed. Once arcades contained more powerful hardware than home consoles and produced a significant amount of revenue. This game looks fine though. Gamers are far too obsessed with superficial things.

I'd rather have good physics back. Actually, it'd be cool if fighting games had their own Euphoria tailored for that kind of gameplay. I know, I know, Netherrealms' MK and Injustice model collision hit detection was shunned but I'd rather have that and have it look realistic rather than getting hit by air into invisible square hitbox. This archaic stuff is still there only because of competitive players that are used to it and spend hundreds of hours memorizing distances for them.
Anyway, back to physics, I'd very much like soft bodies physics DOA5 on PS4/Xbone had, paired with some realistic physics based collision and behavior. That's where future of fighting games should lie.

Hrm.. yeah, the graphics seems weak.. why ? because of the 4k ? i mean.. Tekken 7 at 4k is heavy already..

Physics, Textures, Poly's should be the priority on my opinion..
4k on second plan..

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is one of the best fighting games on the Ps3 and Xbox 360.. nice graphics there

not looking too good. i mean yeah the characters are slightly sharper. but it also looks much the same. they used to be prestige in character detail. kinda of a let down here. they should probably just use sourced tech if they can't come up with something on parallel.
