As promised, we are now fully equipped to propose HDR content on PC thanks to Mirillis Action! which can now record such videos. Since we were sent a PC code for DOOM Eternal, we decided to show you how the sequel looks in HDR, despite the fact that this is now a DirectX 12 game. We recorded the following gameplay with all graphics options maxed out in 4K and we played with a gamepad (don't give us that look) in order to show some nice and smooth tracking shots of the scenery from time to time. Oddly enough, even though we were using a controller, we found gameplay to be much more dynamic on PC than on Xbox One X, so either it's more responsive or we simply got the hang of it the other day as we were recording the console gameplay. Anyway, we remind everyone that HDR videos are only available to download on the website, but will be up on our YouTube channel soon (just be patient so they are done being processed). Last but not least, you obviously need to own an HDR compatible TV to be able to enjoy them.
