Here is the launch trailer of Doom_3000_en.html">Doom in good quality. The title from Bethesda and id Software will launch next week. You will also find inside the live action trailer Fight Like Hell that we managed to get in a very good quality.
Update: 50Mbps proper English/ESRB version added.

You can say what you want, but the final few shots felt a lot like the original Doom cover art coming to life

GTX 1080 running Doom on Ultra settings at 1080p using Vulkan API surpassing 200fps at times!

Agreed. Dumb fun holds a special place in my heart. Is there even an actual story for this game? All I've seen is mindless violence and no other living humans.

Yes there is a story and you can learn more about the character if you dig records and secrets. But you will not be force fed cinematics as they wanted to keep the pace fluid and fast.
I think DoomGuy is a "special" individual. hence his ease with violence , strength and the fact he was chained under a demonic rune in the trailer...
The robot even talks about the fact he lives between two worlds...

Amazing. Thanks for posting. At least now we know we'll have the api's and the hardware to give us that vital performance for VR with cutting edge visuals, and yes, I'd regard Doom's visuals on the high end of the spectrum.
