Capcom has released a new Trailer for Dragon's Dogma, its open world game. The title is due to be released in 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Update: 7 Screens added.
Great trailer but it was actually released more than 2 weeks ago for PS Store E3 section. So it's kind of not new at all. One of E3 trailers you've missed.
oh god... plz get rid of the narrators in game trailers - those flashing screens with text they started to use a while back are annoying, but this narrator crap is just horrible

Whoa! Now I feel myself at Cannes Film Festival surrounded by old, grumpy, fatass juries which will bash anything not decent enough so hard it may go kill itself thereafter.
I'm in this thread, because I actually am interested in the game and I welcome a jpn try at open world games, but this trailer frankly is just not good at all and unfortunately the first gameplay impressions I read on my most trusted review site were pretty disappointing as well.
Still, I hope they can sort out the problems and make a good game out of this, the more good games the better :).

Lol, i like how they put that line in the trailer ''From the creators of RE4/DMC4''. People should know the most talented dudes that have worked on these games are leaving Capcom long time ago.

Main character could be a NPC and we wouldn't even tell the diference, there is no creativity at all in the designs either, the monsters are exactly like in every movie game or whatever that features that kind of mitology.
Im not saying the game will be bad, I don't know yet but with this edited to shit video I can't honestly say it could potentially be awesome, on the contrary its starting to look boring.
They said it has no co-op plans they can talk about at the moment actually. Usual Capcom politics as I see it - not spilling the beans to the moment they're ready. Funny thing is the game itself was announced less than 3 month ago and people already somehow unhappy with it. People barely know anything about it but they are still unhappy. What are you - unhappy by default? C'mon people, there is almost a year until the release. I mean, sure you shouldn't be happy about it at the moment but show some patience at least, eh?

Actually I felt the same way some time ago so I asked the question about this matter for Hiruyuki Kobayashi Q/A interview at Capcom-Unity and personally I was satisfied with his answer. And personally I don't know what creativity in terms of the design you want from european style medieval fantasy story? It's meant to be generic to some point (again in terms of the design). If you want creativity in medieval history check Sengoku Basara series with its over the top viewpoint, humor and design.
