Ubisoft released a new video of Driver: San Francisco showing what to expect from the game in terms of single player content. The preview code should be in our hands soon, which will give us the opportunity to tell you if the game is worth a look.
Looks really good apart from the Shifting, really odd feature!
the feature itself is great, removes the need to get out the car (which has always been awful in driver games) it's the context of it that's rediculous. but alas, if it benefits the gameplay (which is seems to) i'm fine with that, hell, context and story within a driving game isnt exactly something i'm bothered about anyway.

But this feature eliminates all the annoying things you find in other open world games like GTA4.
The shifiting feature also opens many new ways for playing missions. You even have to win a race against "yourself", which is pretty awesome.
Or take a typical "stop this car" mission. In GTA your only option is to shoot or ram (and sometimes you are not allowed to use guns, cauz the target needs to be captured alive).
Thanks to the shifting feature in Driver, you can take control of a truck or other big vehicle, place it on a crossroad, shifting back to your pursuit vehicle and now your target has a huge problem. That's pretty cool if you ask me. Sure the actual reason for this feature is pretty odd and its funny that even the devs making jokes about it (thx to Tanner )
Each car has a unique feel as well. It's fun and always a challenge, especially when you perma shift between several different vehicles.

I think it's a cool feature, but not for this license if you ask me. This kind of stuff would be awesome in a burnout game (remember the older burnout games, where you had to cause a MASSIVE chain collision on the freeway or at an intersection?), but for a driver game it feels really out of place and weird...
If shifting in and of itself was such a cool feature, then games like Vin Diesel's Wheelman would be one of the best open world games ever made, as "shifting" from vehicle to vehicle is the main gameplay mechanic behind the entire game.
Of course DriverSF takes the whole shifting thing up a notch, but let's hope that unlike Wheelman, DriverSF has a lot more going for it than just shifting.

Pretty sure Loakum was making fun of religious naive people who thought that God and Trump have a good connection. And the most recent "Bruh..." means "Bruh, don't you get my sarcasm?" (3 Weeks ago)

Sadly, it is no where close to that - not even remotely.
