Yesterday, Insomniac Games and Sony announced they were going to release Ratchet & Clank on PS4 in Spring 2016 and some journalists were able to try the game themselves in the US and capture some direct feed footage. Here are the two extracts they were shown in glorious 1080p. Note that the game will run at 29.97 fps, but the video itself (like we do too) has been captured at 59.94 fps.

I believe NTSC is 29.97 so double that is then 59.94 :)

So the actual game won't be as smooth as the videos right? And is the frame rate stable at least at 30 or does it dip?

Neither. It's a chinese whispers version of the first game which inspired a movie which is inspiring a game. Ie, it still follows the same beats and groves of the first game. But has new worlds and planets, modes, playable clank sections and weapons. They're calling it a reimagining.
