Capcom has released some new Screenshots for Dragon's Dogma, its open world game. The title is due to be released in 2012 on PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

About a week and a half ago Capcom-Unity made an UStream with game producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi answering some questions from Capcom fans (about Dragon's Dogma and few other projects he was involved with). oh look, screens 5 & 6 feature my ex...no but seriously, this is right at the top of my rpg-ish want list, even over skyrim. I hope they can deliver the combat experience with which they've tantalized us.

I'm not going to talk about how they seem, and how they play later.
But the fact is, with some gameplay footage we can say more, than when looking at probably doctored stills.

You should be more careful with what you wish for.
I'm just saying. You chose to quote a very bad example for a good game that looks also good in videos. I may have exagerated though, because Demon's Souls looks decent in videos, it's just it's overall mediocrity and cheapness that i hate.
This game on the other hand, looks really good in videos, but somehow i get the feeling the gameplay is too complicated (for everything i see every character is doing on screen). As everybody here except for you agrees on, we really have to wait and see. With new IPs, you never know.
