I think it's fair to say that the game isn't THAT pretty but at the same time it doesn't look that horrible either. Sure i've seen better, but i've also seen a lot worse. Now i don't have much faith in this game personally, but whining about the graphics feels stupid imo. What worries me is that the game took forever to make and as soon as gearbox took over it's due out in a year, so i'm inclined to believe that the game might not be the best in the world. Long development cycles generally aren't a good sign :P

Gearbox just picked up where 3D Realms left off and finished what was left so if it's the short development cycle that worries you - don't be!

This may not have ME's level of graphics, animation or dialog (and CG chicks can never beat a real one so the sexy factor is not ver important), but it's got a lot of game inside the main game. It's probably one of those games you know you are going to have fun playing before you buy it. And also, it's got quite a few entertaining trailers (except for feces...).

oh shut up you and your polygons, graphics dont make a game dude, and what are you talking about?? this game looks mostly on par with anything out now, this generation is limited and we need new consoles, but I think its looking great, plus duke was never about graphics, its all in the rad gameplay, any real duke fan knows this.
