Techland has released a 26-minute long commented gameplay demo of Dying Light 2 which was presented to the press at E3 and Gamescom. The demo covers among other things the studio's new iteration of the day/night cycle, the player’s choices and the narrative and in-game consequences. The title will be out in Spring 2020.

Thanks for this video in high quality. The game looks great. Techland also promised to support Dying Light 2 for many years like they did it with the first Dying Light, even after the next gen consoles come out.

In fact, even now after 4 years and a half and while developing Dying Light 2, Techland still has a small team developing more DLCs for Dying Light 1. Techland is a really great studio that deserves all the support they can get. Hopefully the sales are much better than they were for the first game, they really deserve it.

Damn, this looks like a real step up from the last game, almost in every frontier. Hopefully you can up the stamina really early on, cuz if the character gets winded climbing a set of stairs, it just doesn't make sense. Really impressed by the use of colours this time around, Dying Light was too monotone for my taste and the branching narrative, if truly this varied, might make for some really interesting multi-playthroughs.

Parkour looks so close to Mirror's Edge, i dig that.

As for the missions i hope not all of them are as scripted as the one from this demo. I'm kinda interested so far.
