Dynasty Warriors: Gundam announced in the West

Xbox 360 PS3

Namco-Bandai and Koei surprise the videogame world by announcing the release of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam (Gundam Musô in Japan) for the XBox 360 (plus the original PS3 version) for the United-States. As usual, the press release comes with a bunch of screens, and as usual also, no news about an hypothetical European release.

i didn't see this coming

the more 3rd party games from devs , the more 360 image improves in japan and the better will have chance of getting high profile japanese games(you know the one i'am talking about)

EDIT: come to think of it, i know why this game is coming to 360 its because namco bandia is not happy with ps3's sells. this game sold less than than what was expected

I really like dynasty warriors but eh dont like gundam at all. Mainly because of the lame combat in gundam games. But this one seems like it could be fun.

They dissed NNN for its graphics and this amazing next gen game is what they bought in hordes for their beloved new system? Hmm.. I see.

I hate dynasty warriors but with gundams I could see myself playing something like this because a gundam would be realistically that superior to other mechs.

On the contrary, I know exactly what this game is and I think it's brilliant. Not many games have the balls to go all out brawler, and the Musou series is pretty much alone in delivering strangely hypnotic hack and slash action. Someone said Dynasty Warrios: Mario as a joke, but I honesly think any theme would be awesome based on the DW engine.

They're all budget priced and tons of fun, so I say keep bringing it, Koei! :)

Uhm, if it's available in Japan for the PS3 already, they aren't going to be releasing it there on the 360 as it wouldn't really help...at all. This seems to be a habit for some developers lately. I think the Japan division of Sega wasn't releasing VF5 for 360 but the US and EU divisions were. I've heard the same for DMC4 also ('heard' being the keyword.) So the 'improving' of 360's image in Japan isn't really the case here.
