Xbox 360

After the trailer, here comes the gameplay of Gears of War 2, spliced in two parts of three minutes each. The first one is online, the second is coming up. Looks amazing.
Update: Second part is up, though it looks like there is a sound problem with that one. We'll try to fix it.

Without doubt mine as well. I can't even begin to believe how cinematic it looks either. It really is like an interactive movie, and the atmosphere is the best I have ever seen in a video game.

Not to mention the fact that those graphics are the best i've ever seen for a console game. It would be incredibly difficult going for those graphics to be surpassed, although I think Gears of War 3 would give it a shot. ;)

GOW3 will be a CGI 30 second clip tomorrow according to rumors. So we'll see.

Epic Games are seriously one of the best developers out there.

Looks fantastic, and the gameplay looks better than GeOW1.

For everyone who couldn't watch the second trailer with audio: In the end Marcus and Dom were disscussing whenever they'll be able to ride that Brumak! That's insane to say the least....

The funny thing is that GTTV got an exclusive interview with Cliff and they asked whenever you'll be able to do that (and I thought that this is a joke). Cliff made it sound like a joke and now this! ^^

Definitely gorgeous looking, but who else thinks that if this were coming out for PS3 instead of 360, all you would hear is, "OMG the colors are all the same!"

just looks better and better..so much detail. Best hide this footage away from the ps3 fanboys though...the last thing they need to see is how great this exclusive looks to add salt to the tears of losing final fantasy as an exclusive to the 360. The game that they all so proudly told us that only the "power of the cell" could process. Thats probably an even bigger more important scoop for microsoft than getting mgs4.

There have already been plenty of posts on other Gears Of War 2 threads saying things like "OMG the colours are all the same!" If this was coming out on the PS3 then I think there'd be a lot of posts saying things like "This kills the Ex-Box 3shitty, it could never handle this game. BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE PLAYSTATION 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lol!

Why can't some people just enjoy this game without looking to others to see what they have to say about it? Stop spreading comments like that please.

Ontopic: This game is shaping up nice.

NOT REALLY IMPRESSED! Terrible framerate, screen tearing, bland textures and unimaginative level design.

I can't believe everybody here agrees that this is probably the most impressive looking game for this year so far!

...

Of course I am impressed, beyond words... it's all I really care about right now.

As a PS3 owner I was really looking forward to Killzone 2 en Resistance 2 but was my conclusion so far is that both are mediocre at best. At least from what I have concluded from the footage released in the last few months.

I wasn't too sure GOW 2 was a huge improvement over GOW but if you study the footage it has better gameplay, slick visuals and a very promising looking Intro that is an indication that the story is very much in balance here.

I hope at least Killzone 2 will deliver the punch that GOW 2 has at E3. As for Resistance 2 I am not sure it will amount to more of the same.

Great job Epic!

First I would like to say it looks more entertaining than the first one and better in the graphics department, but calling it the best looking graphics on console? The best graphics on consoles are without a doubt the graphics shown in Far Cry 2. People who have had a hands-on with Far Cry 2 call it a close match to the graphics in Crysis. The unreal 3 engine is a little too limited to produce the best graphics.
I have only seen the trailer of farcry2. Splendid-looking indeed, but the framerate is a crap...

And if you ask me, these 2 games are even graphically hard to compare.
Reminds me of when people compared Halo3 to Gears 1

I've gotta say that GoW2 is the best-looking console game...without a doubt.
