Looks great. But i hope there is a slider for the "old VHS" effect or whatever it is. I wouldn't turn it off, but i'd like to tone it down, it seems to distract from the awesome artwork.

You mean those horrible lines are actually intentional? I get what they were trying to do but it looks bad and unnecessary. Contributes to nothing but making my TV look like it's having issues. Make it optional or no sale.

Yea, I understand it's a bunch of one room boss challenges. which is a shame, but I believe that is it because the art & animations taking a huge amount of time to do.
Looks awesome...but i do think it's a bummer it's just boss fights. I understand it would take a lot of work to have full platform levels animated like this...but if you're gonna do a job may as well do it right. Think we all thought it was a proper platformer.
I'd still pick it up though if I get an xboxone. Does look like good co-op fun.

Oh...erm. Hype deflated then. I thought it was a full blown platformer :/
2nd video is up and it shows some side scrolling backgrounds after all. Sadly the gameplay seems to retain the boss challenge only concept. Let's hope the final has some challenging platforming too, because animation wise this looks too good to be just that.

They said in interview it's going to be a 70% boss battles.
Kinda bummer, since i heard it today. Love the style of the game.
