Bandai Namco made a great announcement by revealing its partnership with Arc System Works to bring the Dragon Ball series back to 2D with the upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ. The title uses Unreal Engine, features 3vs3 Tag and will be out in early 2018. A closed beta will take place before the end of the summer on consoles.

DRAGON BALL FighterZ to Take Anime-Based Fighting Games in a Bold New Direction

I saw some gameplay vids and it looks nice. To be expect from the same devs as Guilty Gear.

I'm on all in for a good DGZ fighter.
