Xbox 360 PS3

Electronic Arts showcased the last Burnout, called "Paradise", much more colorful than the previous ones. It's really nice looking, it goes as fast as ever and the cars destructions are quite impressive.

the end is great

Is it going to be released the same day as PS3 version or will it be a time exclusive for PS3?

Pretty, just a bit dull and empty. Many gave their souls away to do this game, so kudos to them. Hope the game does well.

Could you please upload the full video as well? Make it torrent-only if you need to save bandwidth.

I love the series but this footage just looks lame. I guess Burnout is one of those games you really can't appreciate unless you're playing it.

It's only supposed to show how crashes look. The video may be very boring, but I am more than happy with what they've done with this game.

Stunning, i'm not sure how the games gonna work.. driving around looking for a few races? Burnout: Revenge had tons and tons of races and gametypes... will this still offer all that variety.. and alot of races?

It seems as bad as previous Burnout games. Definitely won't buy it.

I love how that slowmotion head on crash looks... but look closely and you will notice that the green car doesnt have a driver :P

neither does your own car... but then again its a pree-alpha build. Did the old games use have people walking around on the streets? The city feels kinda dead and empty.

Look even closer and you might notice the letters "Pre-Alpha Software E3 Build".

Ooh the physics have gained some accuracy. Overall much better than the two earlier ones. I havent really liked them since #2.

I love that the cars have some weight to them now. Really makes the impact and roll seem quite lifelike

Wait can you still crash into cars on your own side like Burnout Revenger? If that's so then this ain't a buy from me, I really hate that "gameplay" addition... takes the skill out of burnout
LONG LIVE BURNOUT 2!

did they delibrately place the camera so low that you can't see any cars ahead? pretty annoying.

Racing games are meant to be played with bumper cam anyway.

We're so far away from the amazingness of Burnout 2 already (3 and onwards) that we can only hope that Burnout has evolved into something completely different, thus possibly being brilliant in a brand new way.

You should check out Burnout Dominator on the PS2 and PSP if you liked B2 though, the burnout combos are back in that! :D

Wow there's a lot of burnout 3+ haters around eh?

Well, I guess I'm crazy, but I loved being able to just plough through everything. It's just something different from the usual simulation racers. If I wanted arcadey simulation, I'd get PGR.

I loved that your car could go sideways in Outrun and still be under control, same goes for Burnout 3/4's stupid physics. Anywho, this looks like a step towards more realistic driving, which I don't have a problem with either. I'm dubious about the whole open-world thing though.

The crashes look great, but the whole game doesn't awake my interest.
For me, the best Burnout was number 2. They just exaggerated after that.
MORE speed, MORE crashes, MORE effects... the soul of the game dissapeared...
