Video PC Xbox 360 PS3

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit multiplayer mode is playable at EA's booth, and here is a 1vs1 cops vs robbers pursuit. No doubt, this is using the same engine as Burnout Paradise.
Update: Added a second video.

Hmmm...Burnout + cops - cool crashes and car damage? Doesn't really do much for me. Really burned out on racing games lately. There has been such little innovation in the last 10 years in the genre. As much as I love open world games, they just don't seem to gel with racing games. Other than making a huge open world, what is this game doing that every other racing game hasn't done before it?

Better stick with Burnout P. If I want some cop chases with real cars I can just play Undercover.
Besides, I thought that LP-670 would have a chance of outrunning Reventon or at least keep it even.

Looks like a more decent game than any other NFS made in the last 5 years.

NFS most wanted was the last NFS game i was able to enjoy at all. Shift was decent but it was just far too close to the Forza 3 release to mean much to me.

I just don't think this series will be good again until they can figure out some kind of meaningful identity to give the franchise. Seems like every new year is a desperate attempt to turn it around but not enough dev time to make it work.

It does have crashes and damage but because they are using real cars the damage can only go so far.

Really? Paradise runs 60fps. This runs 30. Racing game in 30fps? Eeeeewwwww :(

Me personally love this retro idea. Hot Pursuit was my most favourite and for days played NFS ever. Add cool graphics, damage, cool new sounds and I have my favourite game updated for today standard. Great!

Hope its got a replay option at the end of a race so that i can relive the moments of the intense chases! Great game on PS2 back in the days and still is one of the stellar racers on the system!

Addendum: Yes a nice redo of Road Rash in HD would be very nice, make it happen Criterion/EA!!! :D

Chase HQ 2010 right there!!!

Did you see the fucking air vents go up and down on the Reventon?! I have been asking for this kind of detail since the Lamborghini game on Xbox, (which never got released cos the company went bust). I'm going to buy this game when it comes out JUST because they bothered!!!

open world? nooooooo!! :(

i am getting sick of open world racing games, i thought this was gonna be a mix of old NFS and old Burnout but i guess not. in fast racing games i want scripted tracks with arrows blocking certain turns etc so you dont go a wrong way

NFS was the shit when I was a kid... but I think once Underground came out the series has been going nowhere but downhill. Coincidentally Burnout also started sucking once EA got their hands on it
