Barker Hangar gave me the opportunity to play some Heavenly Sword. But there's a problem, I'm a bad beat'em all player. I mean really bad. So no stunning combos here, just a superb cinematic and an awesome looking level, to be brief: a beautiful game. We can't wait seeing more footage with a good player.

Any game would look bad if it was being played bad. Again, no offense Pipo, it's not my intention to bash you, im just trying to make a point.
The thing I liked about God of War 2 was you had a lot of weapons to take down enemies with, but none were required for certain enemies. You could destroy them any way you saw fit. I'm going to reserve judgment till I get my hands on the demo, but from hearing comments and see multiple players try out the game, it seems its got more of a learning curve to it.
Still dying to check out the story, and graphics and presentation are superb. I hope the demo can convince me to pick up the full version this Fall.

Cant wait
This, Uncharted, and Lair all look like short single player games. I hope at least one finds a way to bring some added depth to the SP experience. But I am picky, I only rented the God of War games, I just don't like to pay a lot of money for short games that I never play through twice.
In these your slashes pass right through the enemy body like nothing and it's all so ADHD it makes me sad.
And even if the game is good in its genre, there's absolutely nothing next-gen about it unless you count the rare and few ragdoll events (most bodies seemed to fall with animations).

as for "there's absolutely nothing next-gen about it", whenever i hear people say that these days the first thing i think is "what exactly were you expecting?" i find that "there's absolutely nothing next-gen about it" usually means "i don't like it therefore it doesn't fulfill my abstract concept of 'next-gen'"
better physics (there's far better physics than older games if you've watched the videos), dynamic audio, better in-game cinematography. its all clearly next-gen as it couldn't have been done on a previous gen console (due to simple power demands)

pretty boring morelike
that rope jumping rails bit is such a cliched game dynamic.
Rachet and clank has been doing that for years, amogst many others!
Sorry, but apart from the pretty GFX, this looks like a button masher/ cutscene borefest.
