Looks like messing around in town will be fun. Now if only they would ditch that car swapping that we saw last year :D

Completely agree, I also hope they have the test at the beginning of the game like the original Driver

Completely agree! I have been a fan of all the Drivers (even the much hated driv-three-er), but I can't get behind this story. Teleporting into vehicles? C'mon!

I know people complained about the out of car segments, but why not just try to improve them? There is no reason a company can't make an open world style driving game where you can exit the car in 2011. There are tons of companies that do it already.

The rest of the game looks great though. Keep the handling and graphics, delay the game, and go back to the drawing board with the story. Hell, I don't care if they keep the out of car stuff out, just get rid of the teleporting ridiculousness!

Game looks excellent apart from that teleporting into different cars nonsense.

some people are never satisfied, if there are tons of game that do the getting out of car thing go play those and stop your whining, its doing somthing new just like the Wii U if they made it into another GTA clone it would be even worse just like if the Wii U didnt have that builtin screen controller, if the developer felt it was unnecessary to do the teleport thing they wouldnt have left it in the game would they.

I was surprised that in an E3 interview the guy said they have been making it for about 4 years
Ubisoft want it to be a major franchise. I can't see it myself. Probably take it for a spin though.

The guy said in the interview that they've tried to satisfy the original fans of driver 1 with the car handling.....really?

I remember the cars all handling like stereotypical yank tanks that flew sideways at every corner, Brilliant. Now they all seem to have NOS fitted. Even a yellow taxi that he 'jumped' into had some stupid NOS thing.

This game will bomb.
