Amazing visuals, good camera work flare...but QTE infested combat, no thanks.

I would take this over craptastic Crysis games. But for the love of God, all these qte's are not needed. Why the hell developers didn't get that? :(

Yeah there was too much QTE. It really ruined what is otherwise a very good demo.

There was something about the stiffness of the movements and stilted, laboured gameplay that made it seem like a kinect game. I know it wasn't being played with it, but you can definitely see it was a kinect game. The whole shield, spear throwing bit i could just imagine being all kinect controlled once upon a time. I dunno. Looks quite nice though, just moved like cack.

too many buttom prompts ruined the excellent atmosphere it was building up. Hopefully its just cause it was early in the game. Looks like there's some tactical management there..hope that's built upon throughout.

But yes, animations looked abit stiff, and I assume they're still pushing Kinect with it

Looked fantastic, hot damn. That was probably the best looking real time "crazy battle" I've seen. We're getting so damn close to movie quality visuals. And this is the beginning of the generation! It only gets better from here. Really interested to see where this generation of hardware brings us, and what the PC does to trounce it! :D

It was announced as a Kinect game, so it probably does have Kinect support. That may have been relegated to voice commands for the tactical stuff though.

LOL calm down buddy...yes, the game could use some tweaking with the combat, but every unreleased game coming out on every gaming platform could use the same thing. The game is not finished yet...why are you so quick to call an unfinished game garbage? From a technical standpoint, the game looks phenomenal, and the story could be even more compelling and go lots of places. I very interested to find out more.

I agree that the graphics are amazing, but do you really enjoy playing simon says THAT much?

I mean, the demo was completely scripted...It may as well have been a cutscene. First watch a bunch of highly cinematic, Saving Private Regulus moments. Then, run up to enemy, game stops and gives you a minute to think while displaying a button prompt, hit correct button, watch pre rendered kill scene. Any game that could be played blindfolded with a friend yelling out a button command isn't really all that interactive. If this whole thing was actually interactive and dynamic it would be one of the most impressive things out there. As it stands, it will be a very nice looking, modern day Dragons Lair.

Also disappointed that characters still don't get wounds in the next gen. I was hoping hitting someone in the face with a sword would cause some damage in the next gen. maybe the next, next gen will allow this. I suppose all this could change as the game matures, but other than the graphics, I don't see a single thing to get excited about here.

IT looked to me like the QTEs were only for the execution part, so not as bad as all that. I guess they could have just made it an animation without your input though. Looked neat, but I wonder just how linear it is...
